IDR is seeking a Staffing Coordinator for one of our top Healthcare clients in Rochester, MN. This role is a temporary assignment. You will play a key part in maintaining efficient staffing workflows to support quality patient care.
- Manage and support staffing schedules for healthcare professionals, including RNs, PCAs, and HUCs.
- Communicate staffing needs and updates to team members via phone and electronic systems.
- Assist in assigning staff to open shifts based on availability and skill set.
- Support the onboarding and orientation process for new staff members.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure staffing coverage aligns with patient care demands.
- Maintain accurate records of staffing activities and shift changes.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and staff members.
Requirements for the Staffing Coordinator:
- High school diploma or GED, with at least one year of experience in a call center or support role.
- Experience supporting healthcare teams, especially in inpatient care or staffing.
- Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
- Prior experience with scheduling or staffing systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of healthcare workflows or inpatient care environments is preferred.
