IDR is seeking a Critical Operation Engineer II (Night) to join one of our top clients for Denver, Colorado. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical facility systems in a high-demand environment. The organization specializes in critical infrastructure services, including data center operations and facility management.
Position Overview for the Critical Operation Engineer II (Night):
- Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems within a critical operations facility during night shifts.
- Ensures compliance with safety regulations and industry standards related to fire safety, electrical, and data infrastructure.
- Supports the installation, diagnosing, and repairing complex HVAC, power, and safety systems.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure operational uptime and safety standards are upheld.
- Requires expertise in building codes, safety practices, and data center environment protocols.
Requirements for the Critical Operation Engineer II (Night):
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting large commercial and industrial systems.
- Expert understanding of electrical distribution, transformers, PLC’s, generators, UPS systems, and chilled water systems.
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25, and compliance issues related to fire life safety.
- Proven experience in fiber optics, cabling infrastructure, and industrial safety best practices.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
