IDR is seeking a Senior Cloud AI Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Atlanta, GA.

This role involves designing and implementing advanced AI solutions and cloud architectures. The position requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise in cloud platforms, AI/ML technologies, and regulatory compliance, contributing to innovative digital transformation projects for state agencies.

Position Overview for the Senior Cloud AI Architect:

  • Responsible for creating the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and ethical AI solutions supporting government and public service missions.
  • Combines deep expertise in AI/ML with architectural leadership to modernize operations, enhance engagement, and support data-informed decisions.
  • Engages with multiple teams, communicates with stakeholders at all levels, and mentors other architects to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Works to design, develop, and implement IT architecture, AWS cloud solutions, and advanced AI/ML across various initiatives.
  • Ensures that all solutions adhere to compliance, transparency, and trust standards while leveraging cloud and AI technologies.

Requirements for the Senior Cloud AI Architect:

  • 10+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years of enterprise full-cycle architecture experience in IT/software development.
  • 5–8 years of hands-on technical application architecture experience, including application build and modernization.
  • Extensive experience architecting and programming applications in AWS environments.
  • Proven experience designing secure, scalable, and ethical AI/ML solutions within public or hybrid cloud settings.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, with familiarity with relevant platforms and frameworks such as AWS SageMaker, PyTorch, and Vertex AI.
