IDR is seeking a Director of Finance to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Fountain Valley, California. This is a great opportunity to continue your career in one of the leading Health Care Organizations in California. This role is a highly visible leadership position supporting the financial operations of a growing Physician Services organization. You’ll guide financial reporting, budgeting, controls, and client-facing finance leadership across physician practice clients.
Position Overview for the Director of Finance:
- Lead accounting and financial reporting for the Physician Services division and oversee key operational finance functions
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including P&L statements, variance analyses, and performance metrics
- Manage month-end close, reconciliations, physician invoicing, and revenue reconciliation through accounts receivable
- Direct budgeting and forecasting efforts while monitoring profitability and financial performance
- Serve as the primary financial liaison between physician clients and corporate accounting teams
Requirements for the Director of Finance:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5–10 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, public accounting, or related financial leadership roles
- Experience developing and maintaining financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Strong financial analysis and quantitative skills
- Experience overseeing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes
