IDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will support vendor-delivered technology projects and selected internal application initiatives by leading requirements activities and acting as a key liaison across stakeholders. You’ll help drive smooth adoption through clear, testable documentation, effective UAT coordination, and communication and training planning.

Position Overview for the Business Analyst:

  • Lead and coordinate requirements activities for vendor-led technology projects and internal application initiatives
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and ongoing requirement clarifications with business, vendors, and IT teams
  • Convert business needs into clear, testable requirements such as BRDs, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria
  • Support release adoption by contributing to communication plans and training plans for stakeholders
  • Participate in production support by triaging issues, reproducing defects, and documenting bug reports for resolution

Requirements for the Business Analyst:

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT/ITS Business Analyst or similar role (systems analyst, product analyst)
  • Experience acting as the primary BA on vendor-led projects, facilitating discovery sessions and workshops
  • Experience partnering with vendor PMs/solution architects to confirm scope, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests
  • Experience coordinating UAT planning, scripts, and feedback loops, with defect tracking to closure
  • Experience gathering and refining requirements for internal application enhancements and minor projects
