IDR is seeking a Performance Lead to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Colorado. In this long-term contract role, you will help ensure the OneView platform remains highly responsive for DaVita physicians by guiding technical performance testing and optimization in a GCP environment.
Position Overview for the Performance Lead:
- Define and lead the technical strategy for cloud-native performance testing and optimization for OneView applications (OVBS/OVSS) hosted on GCP
- Act as a subject matter expert for GCP observability and performance tuning to identify and resolve response time bottlenecks
- Focus on high-volume transactions and data-heavy workflows, including patient data retrieval, microservices, and database performance
- Leverage statistical analysis to identify performance degradation and forecast system behavior during peak clinic hours
- Lead a team of 4-5 Performance Engineers and communicate risks, findings, and performance metrics to PEX management and executive leadership
Requirements for the Performance Lead:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in performance testing
- Expert-level knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) observability and performance tuning
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present to IT stakeholders
- Proven experience managing a small team of engineers in a high-pressure, clinical, or financial environment
- Ability to analyze large datasets and apply statistical concepts to performance degradation and forecasting
