IDR is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer IV to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Colorado.
As part of the Core Automation team, this role focuses on implementing AI-driven automation strategies across engineering teams. You will help accelerate delivery of the OneView platform by transitioning from traditional manual scripting to AI-accelerated automated workflows that maintain high-quality standards.
Position Overview for the Quality Assurance Engineer IV:
- Implement AI-based automation scripting using Windsurf and Katalon Studio AI Assist to reduce script authoring time for OneView UI and API tests by at least 50%.
- Apply a shift-left strategy by integrating Playwright and Katalon early in the SDLC to enable PR-level automated smoke tests.
- Orchestrate test execution through GitLab/Jenkins pipelines and ensure automated reports are surfaced to leadership daily.
- Support feature teams as needed to drive continued automation coverage and quality improvements.
Requirements for the Quality Assurance Engineer IV:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in QA Automation with zero “Manual QA” focus.
- Expert knowledge in Playwright, Katalon, Selenium, Sauce labs, and ALM.
- Recent, hands-on experience leveraging AI for scripting (Windsurf and Katalon Studio AI Assist).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD-driven test execution and automated reporting.
- Ability to integrate automation tools early in the SDLC and execute shift-left testing practices.
