IDR is seeking a Sharepoint Developer to join one of our top clients for a fully remote opportunity in California. This role involves critical responsibilities centered around migrating and optimizing SharePoint environments within a large utility district, supporting enterprise-level content management and workflow automation initiatives.

Position Overview for the Sharepoint Developer:

  • Lead the migration of SharePoint 2016 content to SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) and OpenText Documentum D2, including planning, execution, validation, and governance alignment.
  • Partner with business units to review existing content, determine retention/disposition strategies, and document migration, archive, or deletion decisions.
  • Analyze, redesign, and migrate legacy SharePoint 2013 workflows to Power Automate, including testing, documentation, and user acceptance testing.
  • Develop new Power Automate workflows based on business requirements and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
  • Execute comprehensive migration validation, quality assurance, reconciliation, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements for the Sharepoint Developer:

  • 5+ years of experience with SharePoint Online and Power Automate development.
  • 5+ years delivering enterprise-level SharePoint migration projects.
  • Experience completing at least three SharePoint on-prem (2013/2016/2019) migration projects within the last five years.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint migration tools and migration methodologies.
  • Proven experience migrating SharePoint Designer 2013 workflows to Power Automate.
