IDR is seeking a CAPPS Technical Lead to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. This role involves providing senior-level technical consulting and support for the CAPPS program, focusing on security, integration, and compliance within a Texas state government context.
Position Overview for the CAPPS Technical Lead:
- Responsible for managing security frameworks, role-based access control, and segregation of duties within CAPPS and connected systems.
- Oversee secure integration of third-party applications and validate security and compliance impacts of application changes.
- Respond to security incidents, monitor privileged access activities, and maintain standards for security, performance, and accessibility.
- Support the development and review of security plans, disaster recovery strategies, and system lifecycle documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security, compliance, and optimal system functionality.
Requirements for the CAPPS Technical Lead:
- Extensive Texas public sector experience, directly supporting or working for a Texas state government agency.
- Extensive experience performing technical activities in support of CPA application systems.
- Experience creating and managing strategic roadmaps with strong planning, technical insight, and cross-functional communication.
- Experience preparing and delivering executive-level presentations.
- Knowledge of data integration, SDLC processes, and IT security control practices.
