IDR is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Management Engineer II to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is involved in managing critical infrastructure within mission-critical data center environments, supporting high-availability systems and building automation across large-scale facilities.
Position Overview for the Data Center Infrastructure Management Engineer II:
- Support and maintain critical monitoring and control systems in data center environments
- Manage power infrastructure including UPS, switchgear, generators, and power distribution units
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cooling systems, including CRAH/CRAC units, chillers, and cooling towers
- Implement and support SCADA, BMS, EPMS, and automation platforms such as Ignition, WonderWare, or Tridium
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal operation of critical infrastructure systems
Requirements for the Data Center Infrastructure Management Engineer II:
- 5+ years of experience supporting critical monitoring/control systems in mission-critical environments
- Data center infrastructure experience with EPMS/BMS systems
- Experience with power infrastructure including UPS, ATS/STS, switchgear, and generators
- Building automation systems experience, including BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP protocols
- Bachelor engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Related Engineering field
