LOA  (Leave of Absence) Coordinator 
Client: Varsity Brands 
Manager: LaCoya Sellers 
Terms:  12+ Month Contract 
Hourly Pay Rate: $30/hr w2 max
Interview Process:  2 rounds of interview (30min, panel) 
Location:  100% remote 
Start: ASAP !
Work schedule details8-5 CT REQUIRED 
Direct with the manager and only agency working this !! 
This will be backfilling (to make FT hours for Delia Cobian – mirror her profile!)


 
Position Overview / Day to Day Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced Leave Specialist to manually manage employee leave programs, accommodations, disability salary continuation, and time-off administration. This role oversees the full leave lifecycle—from intake through return-to-work—while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies and delivering a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing complex leave and accommodation cases both internally and with third-party administrators, including FMLA, ADA, medical documentation review, disability coordination, and time-off administration. This role partners closely with employees, managers, HR, Payroll, Employee Relations, and external vendors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant program administration.


Top Skills: 
  • 3+ years of experience in leave administration, disability, accommodations, or time-off programs
  • Hands-on experience with FMLA, ADA accommodations, medical/personal leaves, STD, and time-off administration
  • Experience managing leave cases both in-house and through third-party vendors
  • Strong background reviewing medical certifications, leave documentation, return-to-work, and accommodation records
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload
