IDR is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Shreveport, Louisiana. This role is ideal for experienced professionals in construction management or engineering, particularly those with expertise in large-scale, complex projects within the data center industry. The company specializes in mission-critical facility construction and offers a dynamic environment for growth and leadership.
Position Overview for the Project Controls Manager:
- Lead project and portfolio controls efforts for large-scale, complex projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple geographic locations to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Oversee data center or mission-critical facility construction projects, providing expert oversight on controls challenges.
- Act as Owner's Representative, ensuring project adherence to client standards and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project control strategies, including cost, schedule, and risk management.
Requirements for the Project Controls Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of progressive experience leading project or portfolio controls on large-scale projects.
- Experience managing a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team.
- Proven track record supporting data center or mission-critical facility construction.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage complex project controls challenges.
