IDR is seeking a Application Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity remotely. This role offers the chance to lead the design and integration of virtual care platforms within a healthcare organization, ensuring scalable and compliant telehealth solutions that enhance patient care.
Position Overview for the Application Architect:
- Provide strategic and technical leadership for inpatient video visit platforms within the clinical ecosystem
- Define target-state architecture for inpatient telehealth, ensuring integration with EHR systems, identity platforms, and cloud infrastructure
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, interoperable, and aligned with enterprise standards and patient care objectives
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and patient-centered virtual care
- Guide architecture design for vendor-supported SaaS platforms in regulated healthcare environments
Requirements for the Application Architect:
- Bachelor’s degree and nine (9) years of experience in relevant fields OR Master’s degree and seven (7) years of experience
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare IT, with 3+ years in solution or application architecture roles
- Active Epic certification (any module)
- Demonstrated experience designing architectures for vendor-supported SaaS platforms in regulated environments
- Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR), identity management, API architecture, and healthcare security requirements
