IDR is seeking a UX Research Specialist to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role focuses on conducting user experience research across digital touchpoints to optimize donor engagement and improve the overall user journey. The organization operates within the nonprofit or philanthropic sector, emphasizing data-driven insights to enhance digital interactions.
Position Overview for the UX Research Specialist:
- Conducts independent research to analyze and synthesize analytics, existing data, and donor insights across web, mobile, and event platforms.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams including product, UX, experimentation, analytics, and business stakeholders.
- Explores innovative AI-enabled research methods, such as synthetic personas, to support early insight generation.
- Translates research findings into clear, actionable summaries and identifies opportunities to improve the digital donor journey.
- Supports the organization in reducing decision-making risks through focused research and analysis.
Requirements for the UX Research Specialist:
- 5+ years of experience in UX research, service design, journey mapping, or human-centered design research.
- Strong experience working across both quantitative and qualitative data sources.
- Ability to use product analytics and experience metrics to identify friction points and opportunities.
- Experience working across multi-touch digital journeys, ideally spanning web, app, and transactional flows.
- Strong synthesis, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
