IDR is seeking a Systems Designer to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role supports DHF remediation and product development within a regulated medical device environment, focusing heavily on documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
Position Overview for the Systems Designer:
- Support DHF remediation following company acquisition, integrating legacy documentation into enterprise QMS and design control systems
- Draft and define system requirements based on user needs and support verification and validation activities
- Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, and Engineering teams to ensure compliance and seamless documentation updates
- Support risk management activities such as FMEA and ISO 14971 alignment
- Assist in the transfer of design authority to the Orthogrid site, balancing technical execution with documentation
Requirements for the Systems Designer:
- 5+ years of DHF (Design History File) experience
- Prior experience as a System Designer or similar design controls role
- Strong knowledge of design controls and regulated product development
- Experience writing requirements, test protocols, and technical documentation
- Hands-on experience with V&V activities
