IDR is seeking a Junior Java Production Support Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The company operates within the financial services industry, focusing on delivering high-volume, critical applications for client support and system stability. Position Overview for the Junior Java Production Support Engineer:

• Provide Level 2 production support for Java-based applications, ensuring system stability and performance
• Participate in production incident triage, troubleshooting, and resolution
• Conduct and contribute to Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues
• Perform code fixes and enhancements in Java applications as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance scalable, cloud-based applications

Requirements for the Junior Java Production Support Engineer:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Core Java and/or Spring Boot development
• Strong hands-on experience in Java development, including writing, debugging, and optimizing code
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, or Azure/GCP) for application development and deployment
• Proven experience supporting production environments, including incident management, triage, and resolution
• Strong understanding of application troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis
