IDR is seeking a Staff Security Contracts Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is remote, focusing on managing and improving security contractual language within a leading technology company's legal and security teams. The organization operates within the enterprise IT and cloud computing sector, emphasizing security in SaaS agreements.

Position Overview for the Staff Security Contracts Manager:

  • Collaborate with internal legal teams, commercial legal, and cross-functional stakeholders to review and enhance contractual language related to information security, data protection, and architecture.
  • Analyze and assess the implications of proposed contractual terms on the company's security posture and provide recommendations to mitigate potential risks.
  • Stay current on architecture, industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to information security and contractual agreements.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in an evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment, adapting strategies as needed.
  • Leverage or experience in critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.

Requirements for the Staff Security Contracts Manager:

  • 5+ years in information security-related work, applying security principles within a business or legal context.
  • 4+ years of relevant legal experience, especially working with enterprise SaaS and cloud agreements.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the enterprise IT landscape, including SaaS, cloud computing, and associated security implications.
  • Strong inclination towards teamwork, collaboration, and sharing of information.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage priorities, set goals, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
