IDR is seeking a Senior Property Tax Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, CO. This role offers a dynamic environment within the real estate and property tax industry, providing the chance to support and influence property tax processes in a growing organization.
Position Overview for the Senior Property Tax Analyst:
- Gather tax bills and assessment notices to ensure accurate property tax management.
- Review property values and assist with appeals utilizing income and expense data.
- Support the management and payment of property tax bills.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to streamline property tax functions.
- Bring a background in accounting, finance, or related fields with a strong interest in property tax.
Requirements for the Senior Property Tax Analyst:
- BS in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
- 3-5+ years of prior work experience in a tax-related field or real estate valuation/appraisal.
- Technical knowledge of US property tax law; ancillary state and local tax experience is a plus.
- Experience with commercial real estate, data centers, and REITs preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel; NetSuite experience is a plus.
