IDR is seeking a Scrum Master to join one of our top clients for an on-site opportunity in Austin, TX. This role involves facilitating Agile delivery within a data and modernization-focused environment, supporting cross-functional teams to achieve project goals efficiently.
Position Overview for the Scrum Master:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to ensure smooth project execution.
- Act as a servant leader and coach, enabling teams to adopt and adhere to Scrum principles and practices.
- Support delivery of enterprise data, analytics, and modernization initiatives by promoting collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments impacting team productivity and foster a culture of self-organization and accountability.
- Support reporting on velocity, sprint metrics, and delivery progress to stakeholders.
Requirements for the Scrum Master:
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master for Agile teams delivering technology or data platforms.
- Experience facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Proven ability to identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team delivery.
- Experience coaching teams on self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Experience using Agile lifecycle management tools (e.g., Jira).
