IDR is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Bay Shore, NY. This role is based in a manufacturing plant, where the Customer Service team supports order processing, returns, refunds, exchanges, and service requests for a growing organization within the manufacturing industry.
Position Overview for the Customer Service Representative:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person in a timely and courteous manner
- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, policies, and procedures
- Resolve customer concerns, complaints, or issues effectively, escalating when necessary
- Process customer orders, returns, refunds, exchanges, or service requests accurately
- Maintain detailed and accurate customer records and interaction logs
Requirements for the Customer Service Representative:
- 2+ years experience in a customer service role within the retail or manufacturing industry
- Professional experience utilizing ERPs (SAP, NetSuite, or NDS)
- Experience providing customer support via phone, email, and in-person
- Ability to coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues
- Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills
