IDR is seeking a Retail Production Coordinator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Santa Monica, California. This role involves managing apparel and accessories production within the fashion and entertainment industries, supporting end-to-end merchandising operations for artists and festivals. The company operates within a dynamic, creative environment focused on innovative apparel and merchandise development.
Position Overview for the Retail Production Coordinator:
- Manage apparel and accessories production from concept to delivery, ensuring quality and timing standards are met
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to negotiate costs and optimize product engineering processes
- Oversee end-to-end merchandising operations for artists and festivals, handling multiple market segments including men's, juniors, and children's wear
- Utilize systems such as PLM and Monday Boards for tracking production and workflow
- Support the maternity leave coverage with potential for future projects based on performance
Requirements for the Retail Production Coordinator:
- 3-5+ years of experience in apparel and accessories production or product development
- Diverse market experience across various apparel segments including men's, juniors, and children's wear
- Strong skills in cost negotiation with vendors and product engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Textile Science, Fashion Design, or a related field (Preferred)
- Music merchandise production experience is a plus
