IDR is seeking a Tax Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Franklin, Tennessee. This role offers the chance to work within a dynamic finance and accounting environment focused on income tax provisions, compliance, and strategic planning. The company is known for fostering growth and development in its tax team members.
Position Overview for the Tax Manager:
- Prepare and document income tax provisions following ASC 740 standards
- Collaborate with tax outsourcing partners to prepare federal, state, and local income and franchise tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions
- Develop and maintain periodic cash tax forecasts based on future pretax income estimates
- Assist with federal and state tax audits, including drafting responses and gathering necessary information
- Research federal and state tax issues and current legislation impacting the company
Requirements for the Tax Manager:
- 5+ years of tax experience (flexible for the right candidate)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree preferred
- Previous leadership or people management experience is a plus
- Strong Excel skills are required; Oracle experience is preferred
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule, with 1-2 days in the office per week
