IDR is seeking a Workday Security Architect to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is within a leading organization specializing in Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions, focusing on secure and compliant Workday security architecture. The position involves partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain the integrity and security of enterprise systems.
Position Overview for the Workday Security Architect:
- Acts as the strategic owner of Workday security architecture, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable access across all HCM modules, reporting, and integrations
- Responsible for Workday security controls, SOX compliance, and audit execution
- Collaborates closely with HR, Technology, Risk, and Compliance stakeholders to strengthen security governance
- Proactively identifies risks, performs root-cause analysis, and recommends control improvements
- Serves as a subject matter expert in Workday security design, including RBAC, segregation of duties, and data privacy
Requirements for the Workday Security Architect:
- 8+ years of Workday Security expertise across role-based, domain, and business process security
- 4+ years of SOX compliance & audit support, specifically within Compensation, Payroll, and Core HCM modules
- Experience in Workday security architecture & design including RBAC, segregation of duties, data privacy, governance
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills, as the role requires acting as the main SME
- Proven risk analysis and continuous improvement capabilities, including security gap identification and control optimization
