IDR is seeking a AWS Solutions Architect (Java) to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role supports a dynamic organization in the technology sector, focusing on cloud-based application development and modernization initiatives.

Position Overview for the AWS Solutions Architect (Java):

• Design and architect scalable, high-performance Java-based applications in cloud environments, primarily AWS
• Lead the development and implementation of microservices-based architectures
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and cross-functional teams to improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and design patterns
• Oversee system integrations across multiple platforms and services using RESTful APIs

Requirements for the AWS Solutions Architect (Java):

• 10+ years of experience in software development and architecture, with a strong focus on Java
• Proven experience designing and deploying applications in AWS cloud environments
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and system integrations
• Proficiency with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
