Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Senior Business Analyst – Provider Management:
• Lead the gathering, analysis, and documentation of requirements for MMIS Provider Management initiatives.
• Translate business needs into structured, testable functional requirements using standard methodologies.
• Conduct gap analysis between current and future states, recommending solution approaches.
• Collaborate with technical and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
• Facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and engage with stakeholders to drive alignment on priorities.
Required Skills for Senior Business Analyst – Provider Management:
• Over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting MMIS/MES or Medicaid systems.
• Direct experience with Provider Management Modules and a deep understanding of Medicaid business processes.
• Proven expertise in requirements gathering, documentation, and validation.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
