IDR is seeking a QA Engineer III to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Longmont, Colorado. This role focuses on full-stack test automation within a collaborative tech environment committed to quality and continuous improvement.
Position Overview for the QA Engineer III:
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI and API testing.
- Develop and execute automated test cases using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Rest-Assured, Postman, and SoapUI.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to troubleshoot issues, validate fixes, and ensure high-quality releases.
- Identify, analyze, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, reporting, and test coverage across the full stack.
Requirements for the QA Engineer III:
- Strong proficiency in modern Java, including object-oriented principles, design patterns (Builder, Factory, etc.), collections, and streams.
- Hands-on experience with Maven for dependency management, profiles, and running test cycles.
- Proven experience with Playwright for Java or Selenium to automate web UI tests.
- Experience running tests across different browsers (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit).
- Hands-on experience building robust API tests using the Rest-Assured library in Java.
