IDR is seeking a Pricing Strategy Director to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role supports complex pricing strategies and revenue management initiatives within a leading consulting environment, focusing on commercial transformation and market growth.
Position Overview for the Pricing Strategy Director:
- Lead comprehensive pricing strategy and revenue management engagements from initial scope through project delivery.
- Build and nurture senior client relationships at the VP and C-suite levels, acting as a trusted advisor on monetization and commercial practices.
- Define and implement problem-solving approaches for complex pricing challenges, utilizing value-based pricing, price optimization, and commercial transformation methodologies.
- Set standards for AI tool use within teams—evaluating potential, modeling judgment, and embedding AI into delivery.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts by leading new client pitches, proposals, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements for the Pricing Strategy Director:
- MBA from a leading program and 4+ years of post-MBA consulting experience, with proven progression to leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in leading pricing strategy, revenue management, or commercial transformation projects that deliver measurable results.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and credibly advise senior stakeholders including C-suite executives.
- Deep expertise in pricing strategies, including value-based pricing, monetization, and revenue management.
- Leadership proficiency in assessing AI tools for value addition, setting standards, and integrating AI into business solutions.
