IDR is seeking a Pricing Strategy Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading pricing and revenue management projects within a dynamic commercial excellence environment, supporting a major consulting firm. The position offers the chance to work on analytical and strategic initiatives that shape client pricing frameworks and optimize revenue.
Position Overview for the Pricing Strategy Manager:
- Lead and manage analytical workstreams related to pricing strategy, price optimization, and revenue management engagements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating design sessions, setting expectations, and building trusted relationships.
- Design analytical approaches for pricing projects, utilizing methodologies such as conjoint analysis, price elasticity modeling, and value-based pricing frameworks.
- Apply AI tools to enhance the quality and speed of analysis, guiding teams in operationalizing AI-driven insights.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring quality deliverables across engagements.
Requirements for the Pricing Strategy Manager:
- MBA from a leading program and 3–4 years of post-MBA management consulting experience with progression toward leadership roles.
- Proven ability to independently manage a consulting workstream, including timelines, team guidance, and client interactions.
- Strong client management skills: ability to build trust, navigate difficult conversations, and influence senior stakeholders.
- Deep fluency in pricing strategy methodologies and the ability to translate them into cohesive frameworks.
- Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools in a professional context to accelerate research and improve deliverables.
