IDR is seeking a Systems Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role involves supporting the migration and modernization of legacy systems, ensuring security, performance, and operational continuity in an industry leading organization.

Position Overview for the Systems Administrator:

• Responsible for supporting the migration and modernization of end-of-life systems, including legacy Windows and Red Hat Linux platforms.
• Focuses on upgrading systems to supported OS versions to improve security and performance.
• Works on ensuring operational continuity through system upgrades and maintenance.
• Provides technical support for both Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
• Collaborates with IT teams to implement system improvements and modernization initiatives.

Requirements for the Systems Administrator:

• 8+ years of experience in support and administration of RHEL and Windows OS.
• Proven experience supporting Windows Server versions 2016, 2019, or 2022.
• Strong background in Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9.
• Experience supporting legacy systems and conducting OS upgrades.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setting at the specified Austin location.
