IDR is seeking a Manager of Application Development to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Tallahassee, Florida. This role involves leading web development projects, focusing on maintaining and enhancing multilingual websites with a strong emphasis on security, performance, and content management.
Position Overview for the Manager of Application Development:
- Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of web applications and websites, ensuring high performance and security standards.
- Manage a team of developers and coordinate with stakeholders to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Oversee website performance monitoring, security updates, backups, and multilingual support.
- Collaborate with IT and content teams to ensure best practices in web development and content management.
- Stay current with web development trends, CMS updates, and security protocols to maintain system integrity.
Requirements for the Manager of Application Development:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 8 years of experience in web development and maintenance, including design, coding, testing, and deployment of websites
- Experience with Drupal CMS or similar content management systems
- Demonstrated ability to perform website performance monitoring, security updates, and backups
- Experience with multilingual website support (English and Spanish preferred)
