IDR is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Suwanee, GA. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in software development, particularly in IoT and cloud technologies, working within a collaborative, hybrid environment. The company is a leader in innovative technology solutions and is looking for a senior developer to help advance their IoT platforms and systems.
Position Overview for the Senior Full Stack Developer:
- Develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications utilizing Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and cloud services
- Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to integrate IoT solutions effectively
- Design, implement, and optimize backend systems, databases, and web services in a secure manner
- Contribute to the development of innovative IoT solutions with a focus on security and industry standards
- Participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
Requirements for the Senior Full Stack Developer:
- B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years hands-on software development experience
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one core programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, C#)
- Strong understanding of both compiled and interpreted languages
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including services like Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS, and CloudFormation
- Familiarity with IoT platforms, especially AWS IoT Core
- Proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular, and experience with TypeScript
- Experience with backend development, PostgreSQL, and database configuration
- Knowledge of security standards related to IoT and cryptographic chip security
- Experience working in Agile environments using Git, GitHub, and build systems
- Nice to have: Desktop application experience, embedded systems coding, scalable system design, additional server-side frameworks, AI-assisted development, and Kubernetes or Docker experience
