IDR is seeking a Network Security Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. This role is within the cloud security domain, focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across multiple cloud platforms. The company operates in the technology and cybersecurity industry, dedicated to safeguarding cloud-hosted applications, data, and infrastructure.
Position Overview for the Network Security Analyst:
- Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across Google, AWS, and Azure cloud environments.
- Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-hosted applications and data.
- Maintain and develop cloud security monitoring tools and automate security controls.
- Conduct compliance audits, remediation, and continuous monitoring to adhere to security standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Provide expertise in risk assessments, vulnerability management, incident response, and cloud architecture.
Requirements for the Network Security Analyst:
- 8+ years of experience designing and managing cloud solutions (Google, AWS, Azure).
- 8+ years of hands-on experience performing risk assessments, vulnerability management, incident response, and cloud architecture tasks.
- 8+ years of knowledge in incident response, risk management, cybersecurity fundamentals, container security, and DevSecOps.
- Effective, professional business communication and reporting skills.
- Hands-on experience using Cloud Security Monitoring Tools (e.g., WIZ, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Tenable Cloud Security).
