Position Overview for the Technical Writer:

• The Technical Writer will develop curricula, course outlines, training aids, manuals, and other instructional materials related to IT certification programs.
• They will analyze training content for accessibility, recommending changes to improve usability and remediating accessibility issues.
• The role involves translating technical content into clear, user-friendly language and working independently with moderate supervision.
• Candidates will collaborate with staff to gather accurate information and support the development of instructional materials for current IT procurement processes.

Requirements for the Technical Writer:

• Experience designing, developing, and implementing training curricula.
• Ability to develop training programs, including instructor-led courses, job aids, and videos.
• Proven skill in writing technical and business documents using applicable software.
• Experience in technical writing, journalism, or communications work.
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in business administration, English, education, or a related field.
