Position Overview for the IT Support Desk Specialist:
Provides first-line technical support to end users by handling a high volume of inbound calls and resolving common IT issues. Responsibilities include user identity verification, password resets, account unlocks, and assisting with MFA setup and maintenance. Supports basic troubleshooting for tools such as Outlook, web browsers, and remote access systems. Accurately documents all interactions in a ticketing system while following established help desk procedures.
This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are dependable, team-oriented, and capable of following technical documentation to efficiently resolve user issues.
Required Skills for the IT Support Desk Specialist
- 1+ years experience of IT support or recent college graduate with computer science degree or relevant.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Outlook, VPN Technologies, and MDM systems.
