IDR is seeking a talented and experienced Motion Designer to join one of our top clients in a dynamic creative role. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in motion design, video editing, and production to create exceptional content for a variety of platforms. Fully onsite – 3-month contract to hire position
Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Motion Designer:
- Conceptualize, design, and execute motion graphics and animations for social media, broadcast, and digital platforms.
- Pitch and clearly articulate creative concepts to internal teams and stakeholders, explaining the visual direction, motion and animation approach, and end results.
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, designers, copywriters, project managers, and account managers to ensure project alignment and quality.
- Utilize video editing, color correction/grading, sound design, and VFX to enhance final deliverables and ensure a polished, professional product.
- Maintain a deep technical understanding of video post-production and motion design requirements across various platforms.
- Work independently or collaboratively on multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Deliver motion design solutions that align with the brand's creative direction and business objectives.
Required Skills for Motion Designer:
- 5-7 years of experience in motion design, video editing, video production, or a related creative role (Agency experience preferred).
- Proven expertise in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Illustrator, with a moderate understanding of Cinema 4D and Figma.
- Strong skills in video editing, sound design, VFX, Mograph, and technical motion workflows.
- A strong design eye and the ability to create visually compelling storyboards.
- Ability to problem-solve creatively and efficiently while managing multiple projects.
- Candidates must have – CKA, CKAD, Terraform, AWS, or VmWare certifications.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with motion AI prompting and creation.
- Background in videography, video production, or photography is a plus.
