IDR is seeking a Software Asset & Vendor Management Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Dallas, TX. This role is within a dynamic IT organization focusing on software licensing, vendor relations, and compliance management to support enterprise operations and optimize software assets.
Position Overview for the Software Asset & Vendor Management Manager:
- Oversee enterprise software licensing, vendor relationships, and software asset lifecycle management.
- Ensure compliance with software license agreements and optimize software utilization.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and software vendors, managing contracts, audits, and cost initiatives.
- Support contract management, compliance audits, and licensing compliance reviews.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro for software tracking, workflow management, and reporting is essential.
Requirements for the Software Asset & Vendor Management Manager:
- 3+ years of Software Asset Management (SAM) experience supporting enterprise software environments.
- 3+ years of vendor management experience, including working with software vendors and participating in vendor discussions.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro for software asset tracking, workflow management, and reporting.
- Experience managing the software asset lifecycle, including acquisition, deployment, compliance, renewal, and retirement.
- Experience supporting or participating in software license audits, compliance reviews, and true-ups.
