IDR is seeking a Trust & Safety Specialist to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role supports high-profile players through complex Trust & Safety escalations, ensuring consistent decisions aligned to policy while helping identify gaps and improve workflows. You’ll partner cross-functionally with global teams to protect the player experience and drive meaningful operational improvements.
Position Overview for the Trust & Safety Specialist:
- Review complex, high-impact Trust & Safety escalations and make consistent decisions aligned to policy
- Identify and enforce against policy violations in real time, ensuring fast and accurate outcomes
- Track actions taken, spot trends, and surface moderation/policy gaps to stakeholders for remediation
- Advocate for the player experience by influencing improvements to workflows and product experiences
- Support evolving Trust & Safety processes, including changes tied to new launches or updates
Requirements for the Trust & Safety Specialist:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of Trust & Safety experience (operational and/or escalations-focused; gaming or social media experience preferred)
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and judgment—able to make fair, consistent decisions and check bias
- Comfortable working with sensitive content and complex edge cases while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
- Experience with first-person shooter games, plus ability to collaborate across multiple partners (including non-standard/weekend hours as needed)
