IDR is seeking a highly skilled an experienced Business Analyst to join one of our top clients in the public sector industry. Requirements Elicitation & Documentation: Identify, define, and document business and technical requirements for moving from legacy systems to new solutions.
Data Mapping & Transformation: Analyze data sources, identify data fields to be migrated, and map data from source to target systems.
Process Modeling: Document current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) business processes.
Gap Analysis: Identify gaps between legacy functionality/data and the new system, proposing solutions for data cleansing or process adjustments.
Validation & Testing: Define test cases, validate data consistency, and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify successful migration.
Stakeholder Management: Facilitate workshops, communicate progress, and manage risks with business users and technical teams.
Documentation & Training: Create user manuals, functional specs, and support training materials for the new system.
Required Skills for the Business Analyst:
- Requirements Analysis & Validation – 7+ years gathering, documenting, and validating requirements for web-based applications, including creation of traceability matrices and UI mock-ups.
- Testing & Quality Assurance – 5+ years developing test cases and scripts, and performing functional testing of web applications, batch jobs, and web services.
- Data Analysis & SQL Expertise – Strong experience analyzing database data using SQL to support requirements validation, defect analysis, and system testing within Agile environments.
