IDR is seeking a Full Stack Python Developer to join an opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves working on impactful applications within a government agency. The position requires a strong full stack skill set with a focus on Python and modern front-end frameworks.
Position Overview for the Full Stack Python Developer:
- Develop and maintain full stack applications utilizing Python and front-end technologies such as JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Collaborate with a team supporting multiple custom applications impacting traffic signal management and roadside assistance operations.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of backend systems using Linux environments and PostgreSQL databases.
- Enhance existing applications and support new feature development to meet expanding workload demands.
- Work in a flexible environment offering the possibility of fully remote work with occasional onsite meetings, primarily supporting east coast and central time zones.
Requirements for the Full Stack Python Developer:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Full Stack Development or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and front-end languages/frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid experience with backend technologies including Python and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with database systems like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with version control systems, especially Git, for collaborative development.
