IDR is seeking a Business Systems Analyst I to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Englewood, Colorado. This role is ideal for individuals who excel at analyzing business systems and processes, and who are seeking to contribute to projects in the IT and business analysis space within a dynamic organization.
Position Overview for the Business Systems Analyst I:
- Responsible for overseeing the technical execution of multiple projects across various IT areas such as application development, support, systems administration, and business intelligence
- Gather and document customer requirements through interviews and understanding customer needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes and recommend improvements
- Support project planning and execution using tools like MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Jira, and Azure DevOps
- Assist with requirements documentation, data mapping, and system integration metadata
Requirements for the Business Systems Analyst I:
- Ability to analyze business systems and processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and recommend process improvements
- Ability to obtain a Scrum Master certification
- Strong knowledge of requirements documentation and delivery tools, including Visio, Word, Excel, Jira, and/or Azure DevOps
- Experience with data mapping and documenting system integration metadata and touchpoints required for implementation
- Basic experience writing SQL and understanding table querying to support documentation of data requirements
