Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Lead IT Security GRC Analyst:
- Lead the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Collaborate with the Compliance Department to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Facilitate third-party security assessments and audits, including HIPAA and HITRUST assessments.
- Provide strategic input for security initiatives and projects, integrating security into business processes.
- Mentor and lead a team of GRC security professionals, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Required Skills for Lead IT Security GRC Analyst:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college. 3 – 7 years of experience in information security governance, risk, and compliance. Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as PCI, HIPAA, NIST, HITRUST, and ISO 27007.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
