Position Overview/Responsibilities for the HR Compliance Coordinator:

– Coordinate the centralized processing of unemployment claims and background screening
– Analyze HR developments and make recommendations on HR-related matters
– Serve as the first point of contact for pre-employment screening and HR Compliance related inquiries
– Review background screening results and drug test results, ensuring applicants meet company hiring criteria
– Maintain working knowledge of federal and various state employment and HR-related laws
– Coordinate process and policy audits leading to best practice operations and cost savings
– Serve as the first point of contact for handbook and policy updates, ensuring compliance in the employee handbook and company policies

Required Skills for HR Compliance Coordinator:

– 0-2 + years of experience in an HR position
– High School diploma
– Proficiency using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
– Strong leadership, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
– Ability to discreetly handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
– Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Kronos, or ServiceNow is a plus
