IDR is seeking an IT Security Engineer to join one of our top clients for a long term opportunity in Arlington, TX. This person will be supporting cybersecurity initiatives across traditional IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments, including ICS and SCADA systems.

Position Overview:
The role involves contributing to threat monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and the development of security playbooks. This is a very collaborative and impactful role focused on safeguarding critical infrastructure.

Top Skills:

• 3+ years in cybersecurity roles focused on critical infrastructure for ICS/SCADA or other OT environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with SIEM tools such as Elastic Stack & Splunk
• Scripting experience in Python and/or PowerShell

Nice to Have:

• Experience with EDR/XDR tools (SentinelOne preferred)
• Experience with Vulnerability Scanning Tools (Nessus, OpenVAS)
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Security+, GICSP, CSSA)
