IDR is seeking a Intermediate Java/Python AWS Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Malvern, PA. This role involves developing scalable cloud-native applications using Java and Python, leveraging AWS serverless services, and working within a modern DevOps environment. The organization operates in the financial services industry, focusing on enterprise-level solutions and data management.

Position Overview for the Intermediate Java/Python AWS Developer:

Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs with Python (Flask) and Java (Spring Boot) for backend services
Build and migrate backend services, including converting legacy Java applications to Python-based REST APIs
Develop microservices supporting cloud resource management platforms
Implement data processing and analytics logic using Python libraries such as NumPy and Pandas
Deploy serverless applications utilizing AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB

Requirements for the Intermediate Java/Python AWS Developer:

Strong experience with Python and Java backend development
Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs using Flask and Spring Boot
Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and serverless design patterns
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Bamboo, Docker, Git, Maven)
