IDR is seeking a Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in San Jose, CA. This role focuses on overseeing construction and engineering projects within the data center industry, offering a chance to work on ground-up core and shell as well as fitout environments. The company values precision, collaboration, and delivering results in fast-paced, technical settings.
Position Overview for the Project Manager:
- Manage and coordinate construction and engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate with design teams, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to maintain project timelines.
- Facilitate communication and track RFIs and submittals in alignment with project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality requirements.
Requirements for the Project Manager:
- 3-7 years of experience in project management within consulting, real estate development, or design/engineering environments.
- Experience working with low voltage cable systems.
- Prior involvement in data center construction projects preferred.
- Experience coordinating with design teams on RFI and submittal tracking and responses.
- Four-year degree in a related field such as Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is preferred, but not required.
