IDR is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Boulder, CO. This role is within a fast-moving startup environment focused on cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure solutions. The team values innovation and efficiency, emphasizing automation, monitoring, and AI integration to enhance system reliability and performance.
Position Overview for the DevOps Engineer:
- Manage and scale production environments within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Write and maintain scripts to automate tasks and system integration
- Build, optimize, and secure GitLab pipelines for application deployment
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot performance issues proactively
- Support AI tool adoption to streamline workflows and improve system reliability
Requirements for the DevOps Engineer:
- 3–5 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role
- Proficient in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash) and understanding of coding logic
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, GitLab Runners, and version control practices
- Practical experience with GCP (GCE, GKE, Cloud Storage) or AWS
- Ability to support Java-based applications and troubleshoot JVM performance issues
