IDR is seeking a Sr IT Project Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Plano, TX. This role is within a fast-paced, enterprise-level environment, focusing on managing software and cloud projects for major brands. The company operates at the intersection of technology and client service, offering an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled project leader.
Position Overview for the Sr IT Project Manager:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans with milestones, success metrics, and resource allocation.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with development, QA, business stakeholders, and vendors.
- Understand technical architecture, design, and implementation to guide project execution and resolve issues.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and within scope.
Requirements for the Sr IT Project Manager:
- 6+ years of experience as a technical PM working consecutively for enterprise level corporations (directly or through consulting companies)
- Experience working with developers on software development projects for web/mobile applications
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, Trello)
- Experience with Gantt Charts and managing large-scale, complex technical projects from inception to completion in domains such as software development, infrastructure, cloud computing, or systems integration
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
