IDR is seeking a Member Services Rep to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Fountain Valley, CA. This role is integral to a healthcare organization, focusing on providing exceptional support and services to members and providers through various communication channels.
Position Overview for the Member Services Rep:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for members and providers, handling inquiries across benefits, claims, appeals, grievances, and authorizations with accuracy and empathy.
- Educate and guide members and providers on plan benefits, policies, rights, responsibilities, and self-service tools while ensuring regulatory compliance and confidentiality.
- Build trusted, supportive relationships by anticipating needs, advocating for members’ health, and delivering clear, compassionate communication.
- Accurately document, track, and process member interactions, claims history, mail, and records using internal systems while meeting quality and productivity standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to team projects and departmental goals with strong organization and attention to detail.
Requirements for the Member Services Rep:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a transaction-based environment such as a call center or similar environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including general knowledge of MS Word and Excel applications, type minimum of 45 WPM.
- Experience in a managed healthcare environment.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English).
