IDR is seeking an SAP Platform Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Colorado. This role is within a dynamic industry focused on delivering and supporting innovative SAP platforms and cloud data architectures to modernize legacy systems and enhance reporting and analytics capabilities. The position offers the opportunity to contribute hands-on to large-scale transformation initiatives in a hybrid work environment.
Position Overview for the IT Platform Engineer:
- Support and contribute to platform blueprinting and solution design during the first quarter
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and platform implementations
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture and configuration artifacts
- Support the modernization of legacy SAP environments through SAP BTP and cloud data platform integrations
- Play a key role in delivering and supporting a large-scale SAP RISE transformation project
Requirements for the IT Platform Engineer:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP IS-U industry solution
- Technical experience with SAP BTP, with exposure to SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) preferred
- Proven ability to design, build, and support SAP platform solutions and integrations
- Experience implementing integrations across complex SAP landscapes, including IS-U, BTP, and cloud data platforms
- Knowledge of SAP RISE best practices, particularly for platform architecture, reporting, and analytics
