IDR is seeking a Accounting Coordinator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role supports financial operations related to Treasury and Investment accounting, with a focus on assisting with the implementation of the Workday ERP system and process improvements within a dynamic environment.
Position Overview for the Accounting Coordinator:
- Support the Workday implementation by converting Treasury and Investment journal entries, reconciliations, and workbooks to align with the new chart of accounts.
- Assist with process improvements and automations for reconciliations and workbooks.
- Perform detailed analysis of reports and supporting documentation between custodian reporting tools.
- Support month-end close responsibilities including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Provide assistance to ensure a successful Workday transition and ongoing financial operations.
Requirements for the Accounting Coordinator:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related business field from an accredited institution.
- Solid understanding of U.S generally accepted accounting principles, particularly related to investments and footnote disclosures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements in accounting workflows.
